At APPLE we’re engaged in an array of projects geared to transitioning our community toward a more sustainable, healthy, and resource rich life here in Nevada County, California.

Currently our Community Action Committees are engaged in gleaning, local investment mechanisms, job creation, composting, rail development, re-defining economic development, and many more big and small topics.

In 2011 we’re partnering with Living Lands Agrarian Network to host a series of home gardening and homesteading skill based workshops.  APPLE members receive 10% off each class. Click here to find out more!
